Lennart Lopin started this company in Sarasota in 2012, under the name SarasotaIT. The tools have changed completely since then. The job hasn't: find the work that wastes a business's time, and build software that does it instead.
Our 2013 homepage was headed "More Profit Through Automation". It promised four things: identify your pain, analyse your technology, find the waste, and find what you can automate. Today's homepage says nearly the same, because it's still the right way to start.
What changed is what one small team can build. In 2013 an automation meant months of custom code. Today an AI can read the email, answer the phone and fill in the form, and we can build and test it in days.

Still online in the Internet Archive: sarasotaconsulting.com in 2013.
These are the projects our website showed in 2013 and 2016, with the screenshots it showed. Several were automation long before anyone called it AI: a library alert service that ran itself, repricing software that reacted to competitors on its own, and live reporting from machines on a plant floor.
Automation · web application
Tells library patrons when their library receives a new book by an author they follow. A small widget sits on the library's own website, and the author database is matched to the books that library actually owns. No software to install and no staff time.
Automation · real time
Repricing and inventory software for Amazon sellers, sold as Kick Butt Seller. It watched competitors' prices and adjusted the seller's own automatically.
Industrial · real time
An online reporting portal for an industrial reliability company. Their customers logged in for plant reports and streaming vibration data, around the clock, to catch machine problems before they became breakdowns.
Marketplace · healthcare
pricepain.com, where patients search a procedure and ZIP code and compare what doctors charge. Providers claim a free profile and list their prices.
Real estate · online auction
An online auction platform for a Florida real estate firm, where buyers reserved a seat and bid on homes.
eCommerce
The online store for a skincare brand, with product pages, cart, wishlist and checkout.
Web application
A life-goal management application: set a goal, then follow a short daily routine toward it.
Web application
A website with vehicle listings for a local auto repair and sales business.
Website
A vacation-package website for travel to Sri Lanka, where visitors could build their own trip.
Website
A website for a cookbook author, built around sharing recipes and family stories.
Artificial intelligence
A self-learning chatbot you could talk to on the desktop or in a live chat on the web. We were building conversational AI a decade before ChatGPT.
Desktop application
A desktop application for trading Bitcoin.
Automation
Automated new-book alerts for readers.
Automation
Newsletters for libraries.
Years are when each project appears on our site in the Internet Archive, not necessarily when it was built.
Lennart has spent the last two years working hands-on with AI every day. We run on it ourselves: our phone line is answered by Ava, an AI receptionist we built, and our sites are designed and maintained with AI tools. What works for us, we build for local businesses.
01
Quotes, orders, data entry, reports and the systems that don't talk to each other.
02
Answers your phone and website chat, day and night. Call us to hear it.
03
Sites built from your own photos, reviews and hours.
04
Getting found on Google, in the map and in ChatGPT.
